Why "Eider Way"?
One day we were discussing possible names for the
house, and Janie suddenly blurted out "Eider Way." Mark
burst out laughing, and that was that. For those of you who
aren't up on your Duckology, "Eider" is the name of a sea
duck famous for its "Eider Down" used to stuff pillows and
comforters.
